Product Overview
35mm Hidden Hinge Installation Kit Comes with template and 35mm drill bit. Easy to follow instructions. This template produces a 3mm (k) gap between the edge of the door and the boring. If installing one piece euro hinges that require a smaller gap (k) you may need to add shims (not supplied) to adjust to required gap. The template works well with any of our two piece Easy-Clip concealed euro hinges. See Technical Info for instructions that accompany the illustrations, these are the instructions that come on the back of the packaging.
Professional Tip: It is recommended that you double check all of your required measurements and then bore a test hole in a piece of scrap to confirm these measurements before starting your project. 1. Mark center point of top and bottom hinge location on door back at equal distance from top and bottom of door edges. Any center hinges should be equal distance from hinges on either side.
2. Position ALIGNright template against hinge side of door at locations marked. Mark center point (template position "C") to be drilled for 35mm hole. Place center point of 35mm drill bit on marked position and drill slowly to 1/2" depth. Do not drill completely through door.
3. Position hinge cup in 35mm hole and verify pilot hole positions Most major brands use pilot holes "A" or "B". For others, make changes where necessary before drilling 1/16" pilot holes. L-AN0192C-G-Q
