Product Overview

Clear glass knob with old style mounting. This old fashion antique style clear glass knob is just like the glass knobs grandma had on her kitchen cabinets. These clear glass knobs are made with original antique glass formulas, so they may age to a mellow champagne color over time when exposed to sunlight. To accelerate this process, place them in strong direct sun outside. This is the original style and fastening method. If you would like to attach these glass knobs with a modern knob screw and avoid the protrusion of a nut and screw behind the door front, then purchase the ferrule kits on the glass knob page in the length and finish you require. You can see this knob in action by viewing it's recent features on the blogs Primitive & Proper, Number Fifty-Three, Embracing Change, Eastern Shore Chic Crafting in the Rain, & Lovely Retro Renos which focus on refurbishing older furniture into fabulous pieces of decor. And last but not least we have a nice closeup from The Spruce Studio as well as from Sweet Serendipity!

Please note this measurement information: The bolt (2-1/2") that comes standard with these extends beyond the back of this glass knob 1-3/8". A 2" bolt is available near the bottom of the page, often used with the smaller glass knobs, in order to have less bolt protruding out the back. D. Lawless Hardware Depression Glass Collection
