This brass plated snap catch can be used in many situations but commonly used for lids on trunks and small boxes. This brass catch features a spring loaded bail to ensure that it stays closed. This is a utility item,and not much is expected of the finish. They are referred to in the trade as "rack plated". Our pictures are high resolution close-ups, so you can see detail that is pretty insignificant to the eye. That being said, do not expect a perfect high polished brass finish.
