THESE CASTERS HAVE SOLID ALUMINUM WHEELS THAT THE WERE CONSTRUCTED WITH A FAULTY RUBBER STRIP FOR PROTECTING FLOORS. THEY ARE PERFECTLY USABLE BUT NO FLOOR PROTECTION. PLEASE SEE PICTURES
