Gate latch with a Zinc finish. All mounting hardware is furnished. Gate latch is opened from out side by drilling a hole through the post and attaching a wire from latch to a handle ring (not supplied). Self-latching: Release by raising latch. Insert padlock into hole in the latch for extra security. Base: 1 3/4 inch x 1 1/2 inch
