This is a low-profile stainless steel bar handle. The ends of these handles are flat not beveled. Regular bar handles extend 1-3/8 inch from the drawer or door front. This handle extends only 1-1/4 inch. This is a subtle, but noticeable difference in height when tolerances and usable space is a premium.
Use these when you are concerned about tight spaces and the possibility of inchhooking inch you clothing on the handles.
